Working Together

Integrative & Pluralistic

Every person is unique, and no single method works for everyone.
My practice is integrative and pluralistic, meaning we shape therapy around you rather than fitting you into a rigid model.
I draw on a range of well-established approaches—person-centred, psychodynamic, humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)— in addition to somatic and body based approaches and together we decide what feels most helpful.
Sometimes this means exploring past experiences and patterns; at other times focusing on practical tools for everyday challenges, or finding new perspectives on long-standing difficulties.
Counselling & Psychotherapy

I work with clients anywhere from short to long term — sometimes for just a few sessions focused on a specific concern, and sometimes for deeper, ongoing work that unfolds over time. However long we work together, my aim is to create a space that feels warm, grounded, and supportive, where you can explore what’s happening for you at your own pace.

Counselling and psychotherapy share the same foundation — both offer a safe, confidential space to talk, make sense of your experiences, and find new ways of moving forward. Counselling often focuses on what’s happening in your life right now, helping you manage challenges such as stress, anxiety, loss, or relationship difficulties. Psychotherapy usually goes a little deeper, exploring how past experiences and patterns might still be shaping the way you think, feel, and relate today.

In reality, the two often blend together. You might start with something specific you’d like support with, and over time our work naturally deepens as understanding and trust grow. However we work, the process is always collaborative — guided by what feels right and helpful for you.
