The garden room.

For sessions in person, I work from a dedicated therapy room in a private garden in Lancaster. It was created with one purpose in mind: to give you somewhere calm, comfortable and confidential to talk.

Arriving.

You'll come round the side of the property, through the garden gate, straight to the room's own door. A short gravel path leads past Japanese maples, grasses and a small water feature.

Many people find those few moments outside help them settle before we begin. By the time you reach the door, the street already feels a little further away.

Inside.

Inside, the room is simple and warm: a comfortable sofa and armchair, soft light, plants, and a large picture window onto the garden. Water and tissues are always to hand.

It's a space used only for therapy, so it stays quiet and uncluttered. You're welcome to take a moment when you arrive, and a moment before you leave. This is your space to go at your own pace.

Good to know.

A few practical things, so you know what to expect.

Finding the room

The full address is shared when you book, to protect everyone's privacy. Access is via the side of the property, through the garden.

Parking

Free on-street parking is available nearby.

Access

There's a small step up into the room. If access is a concern, just let me know and we'll work something out.

Prefer not to travel?

Sessions are also available online, if that suits you better.
